Description:
Open every day of the year, the Gladys Porter Zoo features more than 1,600 animals representing such species as Galapagos Tortoises, Caribbean Flamingos, and orangutans. Known for its successful efforts breeding endangered species, the zoo works hard on the conservation of such species as Iguanas, and Rhinoceros. It occupies 26 acres in the heart of town, on the southern end of Ringgold Park.

Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., Sat. - Sun. 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
